2026 John Fielder Photo Contest Results!
Thanks to all of our members who submitted photos and videos for the 2026 John Fielder Photo Contest! There were 40 photos and 1 video submitted from numerous members. The submitted photos and videos came from all 4 of the Wilderness areas that we help protect (Eagles Nest, Holy Cross, Ptarmigan, & Flat Tops).
With such an extensive selection of excellent photography, the judges had a difficult job selecting just one winner and three runner ups.
For 2026, congratulations to Steve Gray who took 1st place with a beautiful lake photo that included a reflection of the clouds, trees, and mountains.
The 3 runner up photos in no particular order were Mac Gotsch with a photo of a mountain goat (1st photo below), Ian Monk with a scenic creek photo (2nd photo below), and Dee Denecke with a reflective lake photo (3rd photo below).
