Content Submission
Submit Stories, Photos, or Videos For ESWA's Social Media!
ESWA wants to improve its Social Media presence (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Reels, etc.). We need your help to make that happen. Posting the content is easy. The difficult part of Social Media is generating relevant, quality content that will draw people in. Many of you see great content every day on your hikes, patrols, and volunteer work. All you need to do is capture interesting interesting encounters with people, animals, scenery, etc., related to our Wilderness areas. You can capture this in photos, short videos, and/or in writing. More details/guidelines are below and in this Social Media Training Guide.
SUBMISSIONS

Any ESWA member may make a submission that may be used for ESWA's various social media posts. Use the form below to submit photos.

GUIDELINES & RULES

Any member of ESWA may make a submission. If you would like to join our organization, you can become a member here.

Submissions should be closely related to Wilderness or ESWA and promote our joint mission to engage people to enjoy and protect our Wilderness.

You can submit anything. However, the more unique submissions of higher quality will be the most likely to be used.

Avoid photos of children under the age of 18 unless you have the permission of parents/guardians. Ensure that they are aware that ESWA may use the photos for Social Media, website, and other marketing purposes.

Editing is permitted and encouraged (brightness, contrast, color, crop, sharpening)

By submitting your photos, you allow ESWA to use them in any way that it deems appropriate. This includes on the website, on photo cards (photo cropping if needed), on social media, etc. Where possible, ESWA will credit the photographer. However, credit is not guaranteed even where possible.

ESWA can and will edit submissions for brevity, clarity, and any other editing deemed necessary. ESWA will try not to change the overall intention of the submission but that may inadvertently occur.

Videos must be no more than 30 seconds with a max size of 1GB.

Photos must be no more than 15MB in size.

Submit your story!
Submit your story, video, photos, etc., using this form. Note that photos can be no more than 15MB and Videos can be no more than 1GB and should be 30 seconds or less in length.

Please note that larger files may take a while to upload. Once you hit the "SUBMIT" button, please be patient while the file uploads. If your submission is successful and you entered your email address correctly, you should receive a "Thanks For Your Submission!" email from howdy@wild4eswa.org.

Be patient. Once the file is uploaded, your screen should change and a pop-up will appear saying "Thanks for your Submission!". You will have the option to go back to ESWA's Home page from there.
