About the event
ESWA will be leading a group of volunteer Sawyers to clear winter deadfall from the Rock Creek trail North of Silverthorne. This will be a medium difficulty outing with over 200 trees to clear. This is our second outing on this trail and the trail is effectively closed until we reopen it.
The team will be meeting in the Pebble Creek Neighborhood - NOT Rock Creek TH - and will hike from that neighborhood. Google maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/63dqbaPyTLJ29zDY6
Everyone will work at their own place and we'll take plenty of time to enjoy the wilderness. Please bring lunch or snacks and be sure to bring water. ESWA will supply any necessary tools.
IMPORTANT: You must wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy foot ware that is good for hiking while protecting your feet. You must also have some type of eye protection (eyeglasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, etc.), and good gloves. We may have a few pair of gloves to use if you forget yours or don't have any.
