Elevation Gain: 2,394 (round-trip total)
Steepest Grade: 39% (Like many East Vail trails, there is a short steep stretch not far from the trailhead)
There will be a post-hike get together at an East Vail location for all who are interested.
There should be no problem parking at the trailhead for the 9:00 AM start.
The trail climbs through beautiful Aspen forest, then through dark pine to an old cabin near the base of Grand Traverse Peak.
