About the event
ESWA will be leading a group of volunteer Sawyers to clear winter deadfall from either the Gore Creek Trail or Pitkin Trail in East Vail. This will be a medium to high difficulty outing due to the hiking distance and vertical elevation of the trails in East Vail.
Mike Browning will make the call on the trail a few days before the event.
Everyone will work at their own place and we'll take plenty of time to enjoy the wilderness. Please bring lunch or snacks and be sure to bring water. ESWA will supply any necessary tools.
IMPORTANT: You must wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy foot ware that is good for hiking while protecting your feet. You must also have some type of eye protection (eyeglasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, etc.), and good gloves. We may have a few pair of gloves to use if you forget yours or don't have any.
Feel free to call or text Mike Browning at 303-408-0995 with any questions.
