About the event
ESWA will be leading a group of volunteer Sawyers to clear winter deadfall from the Gore Creek Trail (2015) towards Gore Lake in East Vail.
We'll meet at the Gore Creek Trailhead in East Vail at 8:30am. Due to the ESWA Social in Edwards at 6pm, we have a hard stop to be back at the trailhead by 4:30.
Everyone will work at their own place and we'll take plenty of time to enjoy the wilderness. Please bring lunch or snacks and be sure to bring water. ESWA will supply any necessary tools and hardhats.
IMPORTANT: You must wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy foot ware that is good for hiking while protecting your feet. You must also have some type of eye protection (eyeglasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, etc.), and good gloves.
