About the event
Please join us to perform maintenance work on the Deluge trail in East Vail.
ESWA has adopted the Deluge Trail as part of the Vail Valley Mountain Trail Alliance's Adopt-A-Trail program. As part of our commitment to this program, we not only clear the trail of deadfall to the tree line but also perform routine trail maintenance.
The work will consist of cutting back vegetation, clearing out water bars, and other light work. Although this is a pretty steep trail, our trail work will likely be limited to the first mile or two. We will supply all needed tools but bring sturdy boots and good gloves. The trailhead is the same as that for the Gore Lake trail.
This is a spectacular trail with great views of the valley and the changing leaves on the Aspens!
Cold drinks and sandwiches will be provided.
