Trail Clearing - Wheeler Lake TH to Uneva Pass to North Ten Mile TH

ESWA will be leading a group of volunteer Sawyers on an outing to clear the Gore Range Trail from the Wheeler Lake TH in Copper to Uneva Pass and then will continue on to the North Ten Mile Trail and follow it to the North Ten Mile Trail Head in Frisco.

About the event
ESWA will be leading a group of volunteer Sawyers on an outing to clear the Gore Range Trail from the Wheeler Lake TH in Copper to Uneva Pass and then will continue on to the North Ten Mile Trail and follow it to the North Ten Mile Trail Head in Frisco.
Time/Location: Wed, Sep 2nd. We'll meet at 8am at the North Ten Mile Trailhead. You can park at the trailhead or across the interstate at the recpath parking area which is referred to as the Tenmile Canyon parking or Kayak parking.
We will leave most of the vehicles at the North Ten Mile TH parking in Frisco and carpool with one or two vehicles to the Wheeler Lakes TH in Copper. We'll proceed up the trail from Copper to Uneva Pass and then follow the trail down to the North Ten Mile TH in Frisco.
This is a 12.2 mile total hike with 2,565 feet of ascent and 3,152 feet of descent.

Everyone will work at their own place and we'll take plenty of time to enjoy the wilderness. Please bring lunch or snacks and be sure to bring water. ESWA will supply any necessary tools.
IMPORTANT: You must wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy foot ware that is good for hiking while protecting your feet. You must also have some type of eye protection (eyeglasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, etc.), and good gloves. We may have a few pair of gloves to use if you forget yours or don't have any.
